Steven E. Kaunitz, CPA is a locally owned certified public accounting firm offering a full range of accounting, tax and financial services.  The firm serves hundreds of business and individual clients throughout the Lehigh Valley (PA) and across the country.  We are committed to providing highly personalized accounting, tax, and financial advice in a manner that is timely and professional.  We believe our growth and success is a direct result of providing clients with effective, efficient, and responsive services and the ability to build long-term relationships with our clients based on hands-on management for every client’s needs.

My name is Michael A. Kaunitz and I will be in-charge of providing the content on this site.  A little information about me…I am a certified public accountant (CPA) and I earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University and I graduated with distinction.  Prior to joining my father’s firm, I worked for Deloitte & Touché (a “Big Four” accounting firm) in the Philadelphia office where I was part of the Investment Management team.  I joined my father’s firm in 2007 and I am in charge of the financial planning side of the firm.  I also meet with clients and prepare individual, partnership, estate, and fiduciary income tax returns.  I am a member of BNI.  In my time away from the office, I enjoy lifting weights, playing basketball and golf, and going to the beach.

Now back to the important information.  On this site, I will try and answer any basic accounting, tax and financial questions.  I will also provide articles that are prevalent in today’s ever changing economy and complex tax code.
