Jennifer Doncsecz

Jennifer Doncsecz is a nationally recognized travel expert, specializing in Caribbean vacations, destination weddings and honeymoons. As owner and president of VIP Vacations Inc., Jennifer has distinguished herself as one of the top travel agents in America. As an authority on a variety of travel issues, Jennifer has appeared as an expert on CNN’s Headline News and FOX Philadelphia’s “10 O’clock News.” She also serves as a regular guest on FOX Philadelphia’s “Good Day Philadelphia”, appearing each Friday morning and on regional Pennsylvania TV shows, including PBS 39’s “Tempo” in which she gives weekly travel tips. Jennifer has also been featured on RCN’s “The Edge.” Jennifer and VIP Vacations are frequently featured in the trade publication Travel Agent Weekly, most recently in a June 2007 cover story titled “Jennifer Doncsecz, Media Darling.” Her work has also been highlighted in several local print publications, including The Morning Call, Lehigh Valley Style magazine/Weddings Edition and Valley Social magazine.  In February 2008, Jennifer served as a guest on “Peter Greenberg’s Worldwide Radio show” in which she discussed new passport rules and regulations.  In July of 2008, Jennifer began work on the Travel Channel’s Great Cruises of the World Series in which she has served as the Cruise Expert for this 12 part program airing throughout 2008-2009.  She is featured on this show giving advice on different countries.

In 2007, the Caribbean Tourism Organization awarded VIP Vacations with its Creativity in Bridal and Romance Travel Award. VIP Vacations was also named the leading travel agency in the nation for group sales to Sandals/Beaches Resorts in 2005, and for the past two years has been ranked one of Sandals/Beaches’ top 50 agencies in the world. As the driving force behind the agency’s tremendous success, Jennifer was asked to share her business secrets with more than 600 of her peers at a recent national travel agent convention. She has also served on the executive board for the Eastern Travel Association for the past three years.

Jennifer’s strong commitment to serving her local community is evidenced through both VIP Vacations’ many charitable contributions and also her role as a mentor for Junior Achievement’s Future Young Women’s Symposium. In 2007, her community service and business excellence were recognized by the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and State Senate along with the Eastern Pennsylvania Business Journal when they presented Jennifer with the Executive Spotlight Award.

A native of Santiago, Chile, who fled to America as a child during the political uprising of the 1970’s, Jennifer developed her deep-seated love of travel by spending each February of her young life touring South America to visit relatives. She launched her career in travel in 1990, and today, with offices in five states and clients around the world, VIP Vacations plans unforgettable trips, cruises and tours for singles, couples, families and groups.

Jennifer currently resides with her three children in Whitehall, Pa.
